E-Code is a study and practice tool: it turns a plain-language request into a TI-BASIC program, runs it on a virtual calculator (the E-Calc), and gives you the file for your own calculator. E-Code’s programs are written by AI. E-Code is run by Ryan Elias. Using E-Code means you agree to these terms and to E-Code’s rules, which are part of them.
E-Code is built to help you understand and practice writing calculator programs: to see a program run before you trust it, and to learn from how it's put together. It isn't a substitute for learning the material, and it isn't designed to get around any exam, assignment or classroom rule. Whether and how calculator help is allowed in a class, exam or school is set by that school, teacher or testing body, not by us, and you're responsible for following those rules.
E-Code accounts are for adults: you must be 18 or older to create an account, use the program writer, upload a file, or buy a plan or pack, and you must give your real age when asked. The free examples and the E-Calc work without an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we’ll close it and delete its data.
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. One person per account. Don't create accounts to get extra free library programs or to get around limits; we may close accounts that do.
E-Code is for learning, practice and checking your own work. You agree:
We aren't responsible for a school's or testing body's decision about how you used a calculator.
E-Code’s programs are written by an AI system (Anthropic’s Claude), not a person: the programs the writer makes for you, and the programs in the library, which were written with AI and then tested on the E-Calc. E-Code says so in the chat, under every program and in every downloaded file. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or not what you asked for. Don't rely on any factual statement in an AI answer or program without checking it: run the program on the E-Calc and compare it with what you know. That's why E-Code runs every program on the E-Calc before you trust it, instead of just showing you text.
Programs are provided as-is, with no guarantee that they're correct, complete or fit for any particular purpose, including graded work. Always check a program's actual output against your own understanding of the problem before relying on it. We aren't liable for any grade, outcome or consequence that results from using a program E-Code produced.
Using E-Code, including its chat, means following E-Code’s rules. In short, don’t:
Anything that breaks the rules is stopped and doesn’t go through, and you’ll see a warning. A request that clearly asks for something harmful is a strike: 3 strikes within 30 days suspends the account automatically. Wrongful use can get your account suspended or terminated, straight away when it’s serious. You can appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Appeal”.
Every account gets 3 library programs free every 30 days, and the examples on the first screen are always free. Limits, prices and features may change; changes to paid plans follow "Price changes" above.
The bridge runs entirely between you and your own Claude account. We never see, store or send anything you paste into or out of that flow; see the privacy notice.
If you think something on E-Code infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright". Include the material, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you're the owner or authorised to act for them.

You can delete your account any time (Account → Your data, or email us). We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or the rules, as the rules describe; an account closed for breaking them isn’t refunded for the rest of its month. If we close a paid account when you haven’t broken the terms, we’ll refund the unused part of the current month.
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version with a new date, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using E-Code after that, the new terms apply.
